Overview

The AWS Cloud Migration Engineer will be an integral member of a migration team assisting clients who are migrating from on-premises infrastructure or VMC to AWS cloud native services. You will work with a technical leader to implement, manage, and migrate workloads to AWS cloud environments, while maintaining optimal migration strategies for diverse application portfolios.

Utilize AWS migration tools and methodologies to assess, plan, and execute migrations of workloads to the AWS platform.
Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless application migrations across compute, storage, networking, and security.
Implement and manage cloud services and resources, such as virtual machines, containers, storage, networking, and serverless computing.
Develop and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates.
Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance.
Provide technical guidance and expertise to client cloud engineers.
Collaborate with security teams to implement cloud security measures.
Support incident response and troubleshooting of cloud infrastructure-related issues.
Work with multiple clients in parallel.

Requirements

4+ years of experience developing AWS cloud infrastructure.
2+ years hands-on experience with AWS migration services.
Solid experience planning and executing cloud migration projects.
Proficient in developing Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform / AWS CloudFormation).
Experience with AWS core services and infrastructure components.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
2+ years experience with infrastructure-as-code tools.
