Direct Material Buyer - Remote

Overview

The Direct Material Buyer will support the Direct Material Purchasing team by managing sourcing, contract execution, and supplier performance for assigned commodities.

In Short

• Define and contribute to the Commodity Strategy.
• Prepare and manage RFQs in line with the commodity strategy.
• Make supplier recommendations during sourcing meetings.
• Generate Purchase Agreements based on supplier selection.
• Ensure contract execution and manage supplier escalations.
• Negotiate purchasing performance and monitor available leverages.
• Manage and execute resourcings.
• Deliver recommendations for suppliers based on timing and cost targets.
• Ensure quality and logistic performance in line with targets.
• Handle all business administration linked to the position.

Requirements

• Bac+5 in industrial engineering/logistics.
• Fluency in English and French is mandatory.
