Overview

The Log Quality Manager oversees the quality control of logs delivered to Alta sawmills and remote buying locations, ensuring quality standards are met through site visits and collaboration with staff.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree in forestry or related field preferred.
10 years of experience in timber/sawmilling industry required.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry software.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions.
