Overview

Ally Psychiatry is seeking a Full-time Therapeutic Intake Coordinator (LCSW or LPC) to join our growing clinical team in a fully remote role serving patients in Kentucky. This role plays a vital part in a patient’s first experience with our organization, conducting comprehensive psychiatric diagnostic evaluations to ensure thorough assessments that support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

In Short

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for new patients.
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in the EMR.
  • Identify provisional diagnoses and initial treatment recommendations.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners.
  • Screen for safety concerns and follow appropriate clinical protocols.
  • Provide psychoeducation to patients and families.
  • Maintain a consistent evaluation schedule.
  • Participate in clinical team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Fully remote work environment with reliable patient volume.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Active, unrestricted clinical license (LCSW, LPC, etc.).
  • Experience conducting psychiatric diagnostic evaluations preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
  • Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with patients quickly.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
