Virtual Auto Estimate Writer - Remote

Overview

The Virtual Auto Estimate Writer is responsible for creating or auditing comprehensive estimates of damages for material damage claims in auto or specialty lines, ensuring proper disposition and quality control.

In Short

• Create or audit estimates of damages for 1st and 3rd party claims.
• Train and mentor team members on claims processes.
• Negotiate settlements and document activities on complex files.
• Evaluate settlement alternatives based on compliance and fair practices.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers.
• Possess strong estimating fundamentals.
• Experience with CCC estimating software preferred.
• Collaborative team player with attention to detail.
• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Work remotely within the Central Time Zone.

Requirements

• 2 or more years of experience in auto estimating.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Technical expertise in material damage claims.
• Ability to assess virtual and supplemental damages.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of various policy types.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
