Siebel Engineer Lead Consultant - Remote

Overview

The Software Engineer Lead Consultant will be responsible for providing Level 2 and Level 3 production support for Claims Applications built on the Siebel platform, ensuring system reliability and contributing to the development and enhancement of business-critical applications.

In Short

• Provide L2/L3 production support for Siebel-based Claims applications.
• Lead production release activities including code deployment.
• Design, develop, and test software applications.
• Diagnose and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance application functionality.
• Participate in Agile development processes.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members.
• Act as a liaison with internal teams and vendors.
• Drive process improvements and propose innovative solutions.
• Possess experience in the insurance industry and claims processing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience with Siebel development.
• Strong expertise in Siebel OpenUI and external system integration.
• Solid experience in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Familiarity with Siebel repository migration.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Ability to troubleshoot large-scale applications.
• Experience using ITSM tools for ticket tracking.
• Knowledge of Microsoft technology stack.
• Preferred knowledge of ADO deployments and performance tuning.
