Overview

The CAT Field Property Adjuster is responsible for investigating homeowner's claims, determining coverage and damages, and negotiating settlements while managing claims from start to finish.

In Short

• Investigate and confirm facts of loss for homeowner's claims.
• Determine coverage and adjust claims within authority limits.
• Create or audit estimates of damages for claims.
• 100% travel required for this role.
• Experience with Xactimate is essential.
• Strong understanding of policy interpretation and insurance coverage.
• Comfortable writing estimates ranging from $150K to $200K.
• Must obtain certification to operate drones.
• Open to candidates in Eastern or Central time zone states.

Requirements

• 4 year Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2 or more years of experience preferred.
• Strong estimating fundamentals.
• Ability to negotiate settlements and document activities.
• No supervisory duties required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
