Overview

The Public Risk Group, a member of Tokio Marine HCC, is seeking a motivated Senior Property Claims Adjuster who will support our business' public entity customers across the United States.

In Short

• Handle mid to large commercial property and inland marine claims.
• Analyze coverage issues and conduct investigations.
• Evaluate damages and liability for property claims.
• Communicate with insureds and agents.
• Investigate claims and prepare written correspondence.
• Negotiate claim settlements within defined authority limits.
• Maintain claim files in accordance with company policy.
• Travel for mediations and company meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of five years in insurance claims.
• Active State Adjuster's License(s).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving approach to business issues.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
