Overview

The Watch Officer is responsible for monitoring geopolitical incidents and trends that may impact the safety and security of clients and staff, supporting crisis management and security operations.

In Short

• Monitor geopolitical developments affecting client safety.
• Conduct spot reports on emerging incidents.
• Maintain content for Security Risk Portal.
• Support Global Security Specialist team with research and assessments.
• Manage urgent security matters in the Global Response Center.
• Work independently in high-pressure environments.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Follow established work plans and deadlines.
• Communicate results and activities with management.
• Perform tasks in a cost-efficient manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields preferred.
• Up to two years of relevant experience.
• Strong research and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Experience with threat intelligence software preferred.
• Familiarity with international security issues.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to work shiftwork, including overnight and weekends.
• Must be able to operate a computer and devices.
