Overview

This position is responsible for handling moderate to complex inquiries, addressing various types of policies and billing inquiries from internal or external customers in an efficient, professional, and accurate manner.

In Short

  • Handle moderate to complex customer inquiries.
  • Address various types of policies and billing inquiries.
  • Document customer requests and complete changes to policies.
  • Input and track data into appropriate databases.
  • Remain current on marketing campaigns to respond to inquiries.
  • Explain customer documentation and follow-ups required.
  • Demonstrate accuracy in processing changes to customer policies.
  • Employ probing questions and actively listen to customers.
  • Ensure first call resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve routine, complex, and unique customer questions/issues.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
  • 0-2 years of experience (Preferred).
  • Working knowledge of insurance policies and related processes.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy and interest in customer situations.
  • Ability to handle requests regarding customer documentation.
  • Experience in performance management and customer data management.
  • Ability to identify cross-sell opportunities.
  • Capable of resolving service concerns efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a telecommute environment.
