Overview

As a Catastrophe Field Auto Adjuster at Allstate, you will travel nationwide to support customers affected by catastrophic events, investigating damage and settling claims with care.

In Short

  • Travel across the country to assess vehicle damage.
  • Review policy coverage and investigate claims.
  • Prepare or validate repair estimates using industry tools.
  • Negotiate and settle claims effectively.
  • Balance time between fieldwork and virtual assignments (70% field, 30% virtual).
  • Work on a 10-day on and 4-day off schedule.
  • Help customers during crises like floods and hurricanes.
  • Document findings and decisions in the claims system.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of claims or auto damage experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with estimating software like CCC or Mitchell.
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for helping people and solving problems.
