Overview

The Senior Legal Counsel (U.S.) leads all legal matters relating to the company's U.S. business and defence-related operations, focusing on compliance and contract management.

In Short

Lead legal matters for the U.S. business.
Draft and negotiate contracts for U.S. sales.
Ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations.
Maintain relationships with the U.S. Department of Defense.
Support inter-company agreements and governance.
Monitor legislative changes and advise on risks.
Train staff on export/import requirements.
Deliver legal training across the business.
Support IP-related transactional matters.
Flexible work schedule on a contract basis.

Requirements

Experience in legal counsel, especially in defense-related operations.
Strong knowledge of federal acquisition regulations.
Expertise in contract negotiation and compliance.
Familiarity with ITAR, EAR, FAR, DFAR.
Ability to develop and implement policies.
Excellent communication and training skills.
Ability to monitor and advise on legal risks.
Experience with U.S. DoD standards.
Strong analytical and advisory skills.
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing needs.
