Overview

The HR Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the Human Resources department by managing key HR functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering employee engagement.

In Short

  • Assist with onboarding and orientation of new employees and training existing employees.
  • Assist in the review timecards and payroll management.
  • Stay current and abreast of Labor and Employment Laws.
  • Assist with the employee benefits program management.
  • Manage job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, hiring, onboarding.
  • Maintain monthly compliance screening and license checks.
  • Assist in team engagement activities.
  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Review current HR process for operational improvements.
  • Special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in an HR role.
  • Familiarity with multi-state employment laws is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Adobe.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Problem-solving mindset focused on continuous process improvement.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
