Temporary Accounts Receivable Clerk - Remote

Overview

The Temporary Accounts Receivable Clerk will support collections, cash application, billing, and study budget reconciliation processes for Alcanza Clinical Research, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards.

In Short

• Support month-end close and G/L accounting.
• Assist in revenue recognition and data accuracy.
• Issue invoices and pursue collections from sponsors/CROs.
• Communicate with customers regarding balances and discrepancies.
• Perform cash application and portfolio-wide reviews.
• Support annual financial audits and reporting.
• Identify process improvement opportunities.
• Participate in special projects as needed.
• Maintain compliance with US GAAP.
• Work in a collaborative environment to achieve results.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree and 2+ years of accounting experience.
• 1+ years in finance or budgets/contracts in a clinical research environment.
• Experience with accounts receivable and cash application preferred.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft applications.
• Strong math and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changes.
• High degree of integrity and dependability.
• Ability to work independently and resolve issues.
• Typing proficiency of 40+ wpm.
