The Senior Regulatory Affairs Licensing Engineer will lead regulatory work scopes for nuclear reactors, requiring high operational judgment and collaboration with engineering teams.

In Short

  • Coordinate and prepare Licensing Topical Reports (LTRs).
  • Prepare documentation for License Amendment Requests (LAR).
  • Perform Technical Specification reviews and updates.
  • Review Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR) markups.
  • Support customer 10 CFR 50.59 reviews.
  • Interface with customers on regulatory issues.
  • Ensure compliance with NRC regulations.
  • Lead complex projects in nuclear licensing.
  • Maintain a site security clearance.
  • Contribute to improving the company's reputation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a science or engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of nuclear licensing experience.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) and Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) systems.
  • Experience with NRC personnel and industry groups.
  • Ability to coordinate complex technical documents.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Ability to make decisions based on critical information.
  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
