Offshore Wind Service Technician - Remote

Overview

We are seeking experienced Technicians for the Dogger Bank Offshore Wind Farm Project. This role involves supporting safe operations across the three phases of the project maintenance to ensure maximum turbine availability and safety. The ideal candidate will have a systematic approach to troubleshooting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to follow detailed safety and operational procedures.

In Short

• Responsible for safe maintenance operations of offshore wind turbines.
• Experience with GE Vernova Haliade X turbines is essential.
• Conduct High Voltage switching operations at 3.3 & 66 Kv.
• Perform corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Utilize digital cloud-based systems for data analysis and reporting.
• Maintain offshore readiness and comply with safety procedures.
• Support the development of junior technicians through coaching.
• Participate in safety culture and emergency response training.
• Manage spare parts and equipment during maintenance activities.
• Travel internationally on an infrequent basis.

Requirements

• Experience with High Voltage plant and apparatus is preferable.
• Professional engineering education or apprenticeship in a technical discipline.
• Significant experience in wind maintenance operations is beneficial.
• Strong electrical or electronics background with problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
