Service Technician - Remote

Overview

The Service Technician is responsible for repairing, servicing, and building systems related to hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical components under direct supervision.

In Short

• Disassembles, cleans, and inspects system components for repair.
• Diagnoses system components and recommends solutions to customers.
• Prepares job forms listing parts and work necessary for repairs.
• Designs, fabricates, machines, and welds parts and components.
• Repairs hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Assembles new and repaired equipment.
• Tests repaired equipment for performance.
• Assists customers by answering technical questions.
• Performs maintenance on assigned customer products.
• Works in various physical conditions, including indoors and outdoors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to operate shop equipment safely.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics.
• Physical capability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Valid Driver's License required.
