Overview

The Lead Engineer in System Engineering will be responsible for providing technical analysis and product development related to power systems and power electronics, focusing on renewable energy solutions.

In Short

• Support GE Renewable business initiatives related to power systems.
• Provide technical analysis for renewable generation and battery energy storage systems.
• Develop models using PSS/E, PSLF, PowerFactory, and PSCAD.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in electrical or electric power engineering.
• 5 years of experience in an engineering field.
• Expertise in MATLAB, PSS/E, PSLF, Python, C, C#.
• Experience in modeling electric power systems.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Understanding of grid systems and power plant controls.
• Experience with time-domain simulation tools.
• Knowledge of Hardware in the Loop testing.
• Demonstrated application of complex mathematics in engineering.
• PhD degree or industry publications are a plus.
