Lead Engineer - Nuclear Simulation Assisted Engineering - Remote

Overview

The Lead Engineer - Simulation Assisted Engineering (SAE) will work within the Plant Integration Engineering team, utilizing modern digital engineering tools to enable LEAN integrated plant design and optimize complex systems.

In Short

• Collaborate in a cross-functional environment for successful deployment of the SAE.
• Maintain a master plant simulation model and ensure configuration management.
• Develop and edit system models in an integrated simulation environment.
• Work with simulation software suppliers to prepare plans and perform acceptance tests.
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
• Have 6 years of experience in simulation using modern modeling tools.
• Hold a P. Eng designation in Ontario.
• Desirable qualifications include a Master’s degree and experience in high fidelity engineering simulators.
• Strong preference for candidates willing to work onsite in Markham two days a week.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
• 6 years of relevant experience in simulation and modeling.
• P. Eng designation in Ontario.
• Experience with Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies.
• Senior Reactor Operator license is a plus.
