Lead Engineer for Simulation Projects - Remote

Overview

The position of Lead Engineer requires a focus on simulation projects, reporting to the Project Manager and engaging with customers to improve plant performance.

In Short

• Conceptualize and implement process models and logic emulation.
• Collect and analyze data from customer sites.
• Support project documentation and proposal generation.
• Configure models and controllers as per project requirements.
• Demonstrate technology offerings to customers.
• Participate in meetings to understand customer requirements.
• Plan and allocate tasks to team members.
• Train and mentor newer engineers.
• Assist sales during demonstrations and events.

Requirements

• Ability to read P&IDs and PFDs.
• Experience with dynamic simulation software like Aspen Hysys and Unisim.
• Understanding of Aspen Tech’s process modeling products.
• Experience in project execution and commissioning.
• Worked on multiple simulation projects as Lead Engineer.
• Experience leading meetings and acceptance tests.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in integrating process models with control systems.
