Overview

The Senior Engineer - Simulation Assisted Engineering (SAE) role focuses on enabling LEAN integrated plant design using modern digital engineering tools and techniques, collaborating within a cross-disciplinary team to optimize plant design processes.

In Short

• Work within Plant Integration Engineering team.
• Enable LEAN integrated plant design using digital engineering tools.
• Collaborate across systems, instrumentation, and controls.
• Maintain master plant simulation model.
• Develop and edit system models in simulation environment.
• Perform factory and site acceptance testing.
• Ensure requirements and configuration management are updated.
• P. Eng designation in Ontario preferred.
• Strong preference for onsite work in Markham two days a week.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 8 years of experience in simulation and modeling tools.
• Experience with nuclear reactor thermal hydraulics.
• Master's degree in Engineering preferred.
• Experience with high fidelity engineering simulators.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies.
• Senior Reactor Operator license or certification preferred.
