Senior NOC Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior NOC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring maximum service availability and performance, provisioning customer network services, and providing support to engineering and technical teams.

In Short

• Manage and maintain Monitoring Systems
• Fault handling and escalation
• Liaising with 3rd party suppliers
• Provisioning customer network services
• Server build and installs
• Maintenance of WIKI and technical documentation
• Tier 3 Support for co-location and ISP services
• Participate in a 24x7 call-out rota if required
• Develop knowledge in network and system administration
• Communicate effectively with technical support and sales teams

Requirements

• 12-18 months’ experience in Technical Support or similar role
• Good network diagnostic skills
• Basic Linux CLI and sys admin skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to troubleshoot VoIP and IP network issues
• Possess IP networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIP)
• Strong experience in Cisco Routing and Switching
• Excellent technical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good documentation skills
