Director of Accounting Operations - Remote

Overview

AireSpring is seeking a hands-on, results-oriented Director of Accounting Operations to lead the transformation of our accounting processes, systems, and close cadence.

In Short

• Lead and manage the monthly accounting close process.
• Oversee all aspects of general ledger accounting and reconciliations.
• Partner with the offshore Controller to strengthen close processes.
• Develop scalable policies and procedures for accounting.
• Coordinate with external auditors for timely documentation.
• Support financial reporting and compliance activities.
• Research technical accounting conclusions on transactions.
• Implement process automation and system enhancements.
• Mentor the offshore accounting team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience in accounting process improvements.
• Preferred experience managing U.S. and overseas teams.
• Highly analytical with strong communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
