Overview

As a Staff Systems Engineer at Airbnb, you will be part of the growing BizTech Systems Engineering Team, responsible for architecting, building, and managing corporate infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability.

Requirements

• 9+ years of systems engineering experience with Linux/Windows infrastructure management.
• Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation techniques.
• Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, Ruby, or Go.
• Excellent collaboration and mentoring skills.
• Knowledge of security and risk assessment methodologies.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructures.
• Ability to create technical documentation and runbooks.
• Understanding of cost optimization strategies.
• Experience in building durable infrastructure systems.
