Senior Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Senior Staff Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the franchise business operations, completing day-to-day accounting activities while helping to build and refine financial systems.

In Short

• Perform day-to-day accounting operations for the sports club franchise division
• Perform monthly reconciliations, accounts payable, and general ledger management
• Prepare and file taxes and financial documentation in coordination with the CPA
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure accurate and timely payments
• Support with setting up accounts and ordering equipment
• Handle reporting needs across club-level operations
• Maintain strong financial records across multiple entities/franchise units

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Extremely strong communication skills and a self-starter attitude
• Able to work in a fast-paced, unstructured environment
• Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills
• Expert in QuickBooks and Excel; experience working in Microsoft Office suite
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• English fluency is required
