Senior Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Senior Staff Accountant will support franchise business operations by managing day-to-day accounting activities and refining financial systems as the company scales.

In Short

• Perform day-to-day accounting operations for the sports club franchise division.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations, accounts payable, and general ledger management.
• Prepare and file taxes and financial documentation in coordination with the lead CPA.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure accurate and timely payments.
• Support with setting up accounts and finance-related startup tasks.
• Handle reporting needs across club-level operations.
• Maintain strong financial records across multiple franchise units.

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Extremely strong communication skills and a self-starter attitude.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, unstructured environment with little micromanagement.
• Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable juggling both accounting and administrative duties.
• Expert in QuickBooks and Excel; experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• English fluency is required.
• Experience with franchise businesses or multi-unit operations is a plus.
