Overview

As a Staff Sales Engineer at Affirm, you will combine your technical aptitude with exceptional communication skills to implement solutions for enterprise merchants, enhancing their experience with Affirm's services.

In Short

• Make the technical case for Affirm to merchants
• Build trust with technical counterparts and foster relationships with enterprise merchants
• Design custom Affirm solutions based on merchant needs
• Develop pre-sales support material and documentation
• Demonstrate technical expertise to increase product adoption
• Build and present custom demos
• Work with Sales operations to refine scalable business processes

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in business/technology or equivalent experience
• 6+ years in Sales Engineering or similar roles
• Excellent communication skills with strong sales instincts
• Comfortable writing scripts in at least one programming language
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work independently
• Passion for improving consumer banking
• Experience with e-commerce platforms and payment gateways is a plus
