Staff Software Engineer, Fullstack (Trust & Safety Experiences) - Remote

Overview

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest. The Trust and Safety Experience team owns all customer facing components of the Trust & Safety Platform and supports the user interfaces for Affirm Products like Card, Savings, Prequal, Checkout, User Portal and Repayment flows across various geographies. This team is responsible for building the User Experiences for sign in / signup, authentication, fraud detection & mitigation flows and creating backend APIs to deliver the Identity and Fraud decisions for users who come through various platforms (Web, iOS, Android) and entry channels.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Proficient in Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with React or Vue.
• Ability to deliver major features and system components.
• Comfortable with both low-level language idioms and large system architecture.
• Mastery in gathering and iterating on feedback.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
