Capital Markets Specialist - Remote

Overview

In Short

• Manage and execute the Capital Markets team’s operational work streams, collaborating with internal and external counterparts.
• Work on Affirm’s capital transactions including asset-backed securities, whole loan sales, and international funding facilities.
• Assist in structuring, negotiating, and executing transactions with the goal of growing into a deal leadership role.
• Communicate with Engineering, Product, Commercial, and Credit/Risk teams to drive scale for Affirm’s capital platform.
• Build and manage relationships with existing and potential investors.
• Develop a strong understanding of Affirm’s business and how Capital Markets fits into corporate initiatives.

Requirements

• 1-3 years in structured finance, private credit, or debt capital markets.
• Financial modeling and transaction management experience.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to manage relationships.
• Experience with SQL or Python.
• High level of humility and a strong desire to learn.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
