Overview

Affinity Group is seeking a K-12 Sales Specialist to make their mark in the Michigan market.

In Short

  • Responsible for sales development for an assigned K-12 market.
  • Includes prospecting, lead generation, and managing the sales pipeline.

  • Demonstrated success in outside business development is required.
  • Utilizes a consultative approach for sales presentations.
  • Works from a combination of local office and remote locations.
  • Supports prospective clients through the entire sales cycle.
  • Requires daily travel throughout the territory.
  • Experience in foodservice brokerage or distribution sales is preferred.
  • High emotional intelligence and strong partner relationships are essential.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of foodservice brokerage or foodservice distribution sales experience.
  • K-12 Education or Foodservice experience is a plus.
  • Operations or culinary experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Outstanding time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with a drive to succeed.
  • Effective communication and listening skills.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Sales Management Systems.
