Senior Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help our team build and scale our CasePeer software. CasePeer is our personal injury legal practice management software servicing thousands of legal professionals.

In Short

• Design and implement scalable applications in a MVC (Django) environment.
• Drive technology initiatives to maintain application performance.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Develop and maintain web applications using Python and Django.
• Implement robust, secure APIs using Django REST Framework.
• Design and integrate frontend components using HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and React.
• Write clear, maintainable, and testable code.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve user-reported issues.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in cloud-based environments.
• Experience building production-grade web applications.
• Familiarity with LEAN product development and Agile frameworks.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Expert in Python and Django Framework.
• Strong understanding of SOLID design principles.
• Familiarity with SQL and databases like Postgres or MySql.
• Strong teamwork and documentation skills.
