In Short

• Lead the development of firmware for environmental monitoring products.
• Architect and design firmware for embedded systems.
• Research and evaluate new technologies in embedded firmware development.
• Maintain documentation on the build status of the code.
• Mentor and coach less experienced firmware developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related fields.
• 7+ years of experience in embedded systems development.
• Experience with processor-based embedded systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with RTOS and multi-threading systems.
• Knowledge of various interfaces and protocols.
• Experience with firmware code reviews and testing methodologies.
• Experience with unit testing and test-driven development.
• Experience with low power data collection and sensor protocols.
• Experience with GUI development is a plus.
