Overview

AECOM is seeking a Labor Compliance Specialist to support the Hunt Construction group with a flexible remote work arrangement.

In Short

  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State Prevailing wages.
  • Maintain knowledge of wage laws and apprenticeship regulations.
  • Perform audits of contractors and subcontractors.
  • Review contracts for accuracy of Prevailing Wage language.
  • Manage and maintain apprenticeship documentation.
  • Confirm registration of apprenticeships with State Apprenticeship Councils.
  • Ensure certified payrolls are accurate and complete.
  • Provide support for labor compliance software if needed.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and communication.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Business Administration or related field.
  • 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Previous construction industry experience preferred.
  • Experience in hourly payroll is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills.
