AECOM is seeking a creative and talented attorney to support its operations in the West Region, focusing on construction law and legal issues related to contracts for engineering and construction services.

In Short

• Hybrid position with remote and in-office work.
• Support legal operations in the West Region.
• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
• Provide legal guidance on risk management and compliance.
• Advise on legal support for infrastructure projects.
• Supervise litigation and manage external counsel.
• Conduct research into legislation and legal precedents.
• Prepare legal memoranda and briefs.
• Collaborate with multiple offices across the region.
• Travel required approximately 10% of the time.

Requirements

• J.D. Degree from an accredited law school.
• 5 years of relevant experience for Counsel, 7 years for Senior Counsel.
• Member in good standing with a U.S. state bar.
• Experience in engineering and construction law.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently.
• Capable of presenting before senior management.
• Travel capability required.
