BIM Coordinator - Buildings - Remote

Overview

AECOM is currently recruiting for the role of BIM Coordinator – Buildings, this position will execute buildings projects for Enterprise Capabilities. This position will offer a hybrid work schedule to include both office and remote work opportunities based from one of 4 office locations in South Africa.

In Short

• Execute BIM Implementation strategy on complex international projects.
• Provide CDE administration to project teams and manage permissions.
• Lead project coordination workflows and execute clash detection on models.
• Coordinate smart object metadata with asset information databases.
• Provide technical support on 3D modelling and data management.
• Integrate Point Clouds in the project’s federated model dataset.
• Produce 4D construction simulations with Navisworks.
• Support the creation of smart object content libraries.
• Drive consistency in BIM standards across regions.

Requirements

• Portfolio of building projects as BIM Coordinator/modeller/documenter.
• Experience in multi-discipline coordination and advanced user of relevant software.
• Knowledge of ISO19650 framework and related documentation.
• Experience in resolving model issues in BIM Authoring software.
• Experience with Common Data Environments like Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Fluent in English with strong interpersonal skills.
• Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience in BIM and Digital Delivery.
