Coding Educator - Remote

Overview

The Coding Educator is responsible for delivering educational sessions and coordinating training for coders within a remote coding education program, ensuring effective onboarding and ongoing education.

Requirements

• CCS, RHIA, or RHIT certification required.
• Associate's Degree in Health Information Management or related field.
• 5 years of experience in hospital coding.
• Expertise in ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT coding systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Strong sense of ethics and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
