Coding Educator - Remote

Overview

The Coding Educator is responsible for delivering educational sessions within the coder education program, managing training for new coders, and ensuring that coders have the resources they need to succeed in a remote environment.

Requirements

• CCS, RHIA, or RHIT certification required.
• Associate's Degree in Health Information Management or related field.
• 5 years of experience in hospital coding.
• Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT coding systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Experience with remote work operations.
• Strong ethical standards.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and concentrate continuously.
