Billing Follow Up Representative I - Remote

Overview

This position involves independently reviewing accounts and applying billing follow-up knowledge to ensure proper and maximum reimbursement from insurance payors. The role requires communication with various internal and external stakeholders and the ability to analyze patterns in billing and reimbursement.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related experience in medical/billing reimbursement preferred.
• Basic proficiency in keyboarding and computer operations.
• Ability to read and interpret EOBs and manuals.
• Preferred knowledge of medical coding and insurance practices.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Accountable for productivity and quality standards.
• Ability to handle sensitive information responsibly.
• Proficient in English language.
