VDOT Solutions Architect - Remote

Overview

The VDOT Solutions Architect will be responsible for creating application and solution architectures, component designs, and systems integration for various business solutions while collaborating with IT staff and business areas.

• Create overall application and solution architectures.
• Lead efforts in defining and estimating enterprise applications.
• Capture requirements for data, workflow, and system environments.
• Collaborate with IT staff to translate business needs into automated solutions.
• Produce solution design artifacts including technical estimates and data models.
• Coordinate new system development and ensure integration with existing systems.
• Analyze feasibility and compatibility with hardware and programs.
• Consult with clients to prototype and design applications.
• Design/Implement Enterprise Security technology Patterns.
• Provide tactical direction on initiatives and architecture considerations.

Requirements

• 8 years of experience in enterprise-level application design and integration.
• 8 years of experience in Azure cloud-native and hybrid architecture.
• 5 years of experience with Docker and Azure cloud services.
• 2 years of experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake.
• 8 years of experience in SaaS architecture.
• 8 years of experience with integration architecture in Agile methodologies.
• 2 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics365.
• 2 years of experience with Esri ArcGIS (nice to have).
