Quality Assurance Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Quality Assurance Specialist at AdaptHealth is responsible for ensuring compliance with accreditation and payer regulations by reviewing delivery and shipping documentation.

In Short

• Review delivery/shipping tickets and on-site orders for compliance.
• Ensure accuracy of documentation prior to order processing.
• Maintain knowledge of HME products and services.
• Accurately enter patient notes into records.
• Verify delivery addresses and instructions.
• Identify trends to improve efficiency and cost savings.
• Communicate with leadership regarding insurance trends.
• Assist in performance improvement programs.
• Complete insurance verifications for patient eligibility.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in healthcare administrative roles.
• Senior level requires two years of experience and one year in the exact job role.
• Experience in Medicare certified HME or similar environments is preferred.
