Overview

The Associate, Social Media supports Active Minds’ digital presence by helping create, schedule, and distribute content across social media platforms. This role plays a key part in amplifying the voices of young adults and sharing the impact of Active Minds’ programs nationwide.

In Short

  • Create and publish content for social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Threads, and YouTube.
  • Collaborate with all departments to address social media post requests.
  • Conduct daily community management of social media channels.
  • Update the monthly content calendar bi-weekly.
  • Monitor social media trends and opportunities.
  • Create monthly analytic reports on engagement and performance.
  • Co-mentor the Social & Digital Media Intern.
  • Potential to develop and edit video content.
  • Support additional projects as needed.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of professional marketing or social media experience.
  • Experience with content creation for social media.
  • Comfortable being a featured face on social media.
  • Knowledge of social media management tools like Canva and Sprout Social.
  • Digital literacy with Microsoft/Google tools.
