In Short

• Work cross-functionally across the business to foresee potential accounting issues and recommend practical solutions.
• Review new business activities for timely identification of accounting and financial reporting matters.
• Foster partnerships with cross-functional partners to understand contractual arrangements and provide accounting expertise.
• Support financial audits with preparing audit requests and compiling technical accounting assessments.
• Collaborate with advisory services in analyzing accounting standards.
• Support the preparation and review of corporate accounting policies.
• Participate in reviews to ensure financial statement disclosures are complete and accurate.
• Assist in the evaluation of key controls over technical accounting.
• Represent the company as a technical accounting subject matter expert.
• Champion strategic innovation by developing new processes.

Requirements

• Accounting Degree and CPA required.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Big 4 or Mid-Tier experience as a manager or Sr. Manager.
• Strong Technical GAAP experience with various ASC standards.
• Technical writing skills for memos and documentation.
• Financial Services or Fin-tech industry experience a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced excel skills required.
• Oracle experience a plus.
