Overview

Acentra Health is looking for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to support the Medicare Appeal process through effective communication and problem resolution.

In Short

  • Support Medicare Appeal process via telephone and other communication methods.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints adhering to internal policies.
  • Utilize automated systems for logging and retrieving information.
  • Investigate and resolve customer problems effectively.
  • Maintain logs and document call dispositions.
  • Work remotely with assigned shifts during specified operating hours.
  • Adhere to corporate policies including HIPAA regulations.
  • Develop knowledge of internal policies and services.
  • Meet or exceed call volume and service level standards.
  • Interact with various stakeholders including hospitals and beneficiaries.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two years of customer service experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid program and service eligibility preferred.
  • PC proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective verbal and listening skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and health insurance industry.
  • Familiarity with CPT and HCPCS codes preferred.
