Medical Science Liaison - Remote

Overview

The Medical Science Liaison is responsible for supporting medical and scientific initiatives, developing relationships with healthcare practitioners, and ensuring access to medical information regarding Acadia's therapies.

In Short

• Identify and develop relationships with medical and scientific thought leaders.
• Engage thought leaders in scientific exchange and education.
• Provide research trial site support.
• Maintain expertise in Acadia’s portfolio.
• Collaborate with regional field leadership partners.
• Provide strategic field insights.
• Support internal and external clients with scientific information.
• Represent the company at educational events and medical meetings.
• Participate in Speaker and Sales Representative Training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD) in a scientific discipline.
• 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Focus on rare diseases, epilepsy, neurology, or psychiatry preferred.
• Previous MSL experience desired.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
