Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Playwright) - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SSDET), you will be working in a high-energy team, developing and executing automated tests using best-in-class engineering practices. Passion for software development and quality is critical, as this role plays a key part in modernizing the testing ecosystem.

In Short

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright.
• Participate in the migration from Leapwork to Playwright.
• Identify test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and risks based on requirements.
• Develop end-to-end, integration, and API tests.
• Write clean, maintainable automation code following SOLID principles.
• Execute automated tests to validate functionality, performance, and scalability.
• Integrate tests into continuous delivery pipelines.
• Perform exploratory testing of new features.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA.
• Collaborate closely with developers in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Requirements

• Strong experience as an SDET, Test Automation Engineer, or Software Engineer with testing focus.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (mandatory).
• Strong programming skills in at least one OOP language (Java, C#, etc.).
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
• Experience with API testing and database testing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience modernizing or transitioning testing frameworks is a plus.
