Productivity Director - Remote

Overview

The Productivity Director will support in driving productivity initiatives across the Group as part of Absa’s Productivity Programme, ensuring strategic alignment and delivery of productivity-related targets.

• Support the Group Head of Productivity in driving productivity initiatives.
• Maintain programme alignment to Group strategy and performance metrics.
• Identify areas for productivity improvements and analyze data.
• Build strong relationships with BU and Function leadership.
• Develop and maintain a Group-wide communication strategy for productivity.
• Ensure appropriate metrics are used to assess productivity gains.
• Manage the Productivity Steerco and align agendas with programme priorities.
• Proactively identify and communicate programme risks and issues.
• Consult on BU and Function performance against targets.
• Support incentivization mechanisms for productivity target delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business-related field.
• CA (SA)/CIMA preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in Programme Management and financial oversight.
• Proven track record of leading large cross-functional programmes.
• Highly organized with strong prioritization skills.
• Skilled communicator and influencer.
• Commitment to Absa’s values and vision.
• Postgraduate Degrees and Professional Qualifications in Financial Sciences required.
