Overview

At C the Signs, we are on a mission to ensure that every patient has the best chance of surviving cancer. With 1 in 2 people expected to face a lifetime risk of cancer, early detection is critical. However, half of all patients experience a missed or delayed diagnosis, and only 30% survive five years. If detected early, over 80% of patients would survive for ten years or more.

Our AI-driven platform is designed to identify cancer at the earliest possible stage, giving patients the best chance of survival. With over 400,000 cancer risk assessments conducted, more than 25,000 cancers detected across 50+ types, and 99% sensitivity in identifying cancer, C the Signs is transforming cancer care. Our platform supports 10 million patients in the UK and is expanding into the US market, integrating seamlessly into healthcare systems and directly empowering both clinicians and patients.

C the Signs is a multi-platform technology available as a standalone system, integrated with electronic health record systems (e.g., EMIS, Vision, SystemOne), app-based solutions, and the C my Signs patient-facing application, which facilitates self-assessment and direct referral for cancer risk. Our platform is trusted by over 11,000 healthcare professionals across primary care and beyond.

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Product to lead our product vision and strategy during this pivotal phase of growth. Reporting to the CTO and working closely with the CEO, you will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to development, deployment, and iteration. You will align the product roadmap with market demands, user needs, and long-term business goals while driving innovation in early cancer detection and patient navigation.

In Short

  • Develop and execute a compelling product vision and roadmap aligned with the company’s mission and growth opportunities.
  • Oversee all stages of product development, from ideation to launch, ensuring products address real-world needs in healthcare and deliver exceptional value to users.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO, Chief Scientific Officer, CTO, and commercial teams to align product strategy with scientific, technological, and business objectives.
  • Work closely with the CTO to ensure seamless integration of AI, analytics, and technology into the product suite, optimizing processes to achieve the product vision.
  • Lead the development and iteration of C my Signs and other patient-facing tools to empower users and expand access to early detection services.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs and OKRs to measure product performance and inform strategic decisions.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product management and design team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and emerging market trends to ensure C the Signs remains at the forefront of healthcare technology.
  • Ensure all products comply with regulatory requirements, including Medical Device regulation, HIPAA, SOC2, ISO27001, and support the company’s efforts toward HITRUST compliance.
  • Manage the product budget effectively, balancing innovation with resource constraints to deliver timely and impactful product developments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a product leader in a healthcare SaaS or technology company, with a track record of managing multi-platform products integrated into healthcare systems (e.g., providers and payers).
  • Demonstrated success scaling a product organization through periods of significant growth, ideally achieving $10M–$50M ARR.
  • Strong understanding of AI and analytics, with experience integrating these into product development to solve complex healthcare problems.
  • Deep familiarity with regulated environments (e.g., compliance with HIPAA, GDPR) and the ability to design solutions for complex healthcare workflows.
  • A talent-minded leader who can build, coach, and mentor a world-class team, creating an environment of innovation and accountability.
  • Ability to establish trust and alignment across cross-functional teams, particularly with technical and scientific stakeholders.
  • Comfortable navigating fast-paced environments, making strategic decisions, and efficiently allocating resources to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master’s in Product Management) is a strong plus.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Opportunity to lead the product vision at a company transforming cancer care with cutting-edge AI technology.
  • A dynamic, mission-driven environment where your work directly impacts patient outcomes.
  • Flexible working arrangements (remote or hybrid).
  • Continuous learning and professional growth opportunities, with access to the latest tools and resources in product development and healthcare innovation.
