Overview

The Risk Consultant will serve as a specialist partner to advisers in the area of Risk Planning, providing support and training to enhance their service delivery and client value.

In Short

• Build and maintain relationships with advisers and banking staff.
• Assist advisers in achieving policy count and premium targets.
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within adviser’s books.
• Train advisers on Absa Life products and promote digital adoption.
• Provide sales support and information to assist in selling products.
• Engage with stakeholders for product enhancements.
• Coordinate campaigns and competitions with regional managers.
• Ensure compliance with advice philosophy.
• Keep abreast of market trends and competitor information.
• Document service level agreements with advisers.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce or Management.
• NQF 6 or higher qualification.
• Strong relationship management skills.
• Ability to analyze and identify business opportunities.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Knowledge of risk market and compliance regulations.
• Proficient in campaign management.
• Experience in sales support and product knowledge.
• Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
