Trial Representative, Workers' Compensation (CA Bay Area) - Remote

Overview

Abramson Labor Group is seeking an experienced Trial Representative to support our Workers’ Compensation practice, based in or near Oakland, CA. This role involves attending and handling trials throughout the CA Bay Area, focusing on representing clients who have faced workplace-related issues.

In Short

• Prepare files for trial including client preparation and required pleadings.
• Represent clients at Workers’ Compensation trials and hearings.
• Review and evaluate QME/AME reports for case strategy.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff for case preparation.
• Maintain detailed records of case activities and outcomes.
• Provide strategic guidance based on trial results.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures for case files.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation law with trial experience.
• Strong knowledge of California Workers’ Compensation regulations.
• Experience with QME/AME report interpretation.
• Ability to negotiate settlements effectively.
• Experience in preparing settlement documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Willingness to travel within the CA Bay Area as needed.
