Azure DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Azure DevOps Engineer will be responsible for building and managing ETL/ELT pipelines, deploying and managing applications on Azure, and ensuring high availability of data streaming and messaging systems.

In Short

• Hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory for ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong expertise in deploying Confluent Kafka for real-time data streaming.
• Proficiency in designing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Azure Cloud Services including AKS and Azure Functions.
• Skilled in API Management with Azure APIM.
• Experience with GraphQL and Redis for data queries and caching.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and a growth mindset.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT or cloud-based DevOps environments.
• Experience in medium to large scale enterprise infrastructure.
• Competence in IT skills including networking and information security.
• Ability to teach and mentor teammates.
• Experience working within an Agile framework.
• Knowledge of IaaC development with Terraform and Azure CLI.
• Scripting experience with Perl and Python.
• Proficient with GIT for source code management.
• Experience with Jira and ServiceNow.
